Roadmap for improvement of the subsoil use regulation of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In mid-2018, the new Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Subsoil and Subsoil Use" entered into force, which significantly changed the principles of state regulation of the exploration and production of solid minerals. At the same time, the practical implementation of certain provisions of the Code showed that it is necessary to adjust the regulation of the extraction of base construction materials, the procedure for approval of deviations from the projected volumes of extraction (for acting subsoil users), the transfer of accumulated state man mad materials to the ownership of mining companies, etc.
