Graduated from the Physics and Metallurgy Department of the South Ural State University with a degree in Metallurgy of Ferrous Metals. He graduated from the South Ural State University with a degree in ferrous metallurgy.

Prior to joining the Scientific-Research Institute for 14 years, he was engaged in scientific activity mainly on the theory of solid-phase reduction processes and teaching metallurgy.
